EnviroVent has scooped the Yorkshire Post Excellence in Business Award for Innovation with the heatSava.
The award was presented to EnviroVent’s two engineers responsible for the design and development of the heatSava, Paul Hernon and Rory Percival, at a gala dinner held at the Queens Hotel in Leeds on the evening of 31 October. BBC Sports presenter, Dan Walker, was the master of ceremonies and the key speaker was the Secretary of State for Transport and MP for Derbyshire Dales, Patrick McLoughlin.
Paul Hernon, EnviroVent’s design engineer, said: ”The heatsava product took many months to design, develop, define and deliver, and the fact it is successfully selling well demonstrates we are good at what we do.”
He added: “For me, winning the Innovation award for the heatsava, is the icing on the cake for that project. It helps to put R&D in the spotlight and strengthen the growth of the company”.
Ideal for kitchens and bathrooms, the heatSava is an energy efficient single room ventilation unit which recovers up to 75% of heat that would normally be lost through extraction. It provides continuous all year round good indoor air quality whilst keeping condensation and mould at bay.
The award was excellent timing for EnviroVent, their latest innovation, the Filterless Infinity Fan, was launched on the 1 November.
