April 25 was a night to remember for British ventilation manufacturer, EnviroVent, as the company celebrated winning 2 major awards, the H&V News Award for the Air Movement Product of the Year and the Ackrill Business Award ‘Working for your Business’.

The H&V News Awards, otherwise known as the ‘Oscars’ of the heating and ventilation world, recognises product innovation and outstanding talent within the industry. Against some pretty tough competition, EnviroVent’s ECO dMEV won the coveted Air Movement Product of the Year Award. The award was presented by impressionist and comedian Jon Culshaw at a glittering gala ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel on London’s Park Lane. The ECO dMEV, a stylish decentralised Mechanical Extract Ventilation (dMEV) unit for low energy ventilation in kitchens, bathrooms and WCs, impressed the judges with its innovative features and low lifecycle costings.

At a prestigious ceremony in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, EnviroVent won the Ackrill Business Award ‘Working for your Business’, which was presented by the Mayor of Harrogate, Councillor Robert Windass. Winning this award is a fantastic achievement for EnviroVent, especially in today’s challenging climate, as it acknowledges the company’s continued growth, creation of new jobs, new innovations and expansion into new markets. In addition to this, EnviroVent’s 25k challenge for Saint Michael’s hospice also showed the judges that the company goes the extra mile in supporting the local community, demonstrating a great ‘can do’ attitude and team spirit.

Rebecca Marczak, Marketing Director at EnviroVent, said: “We are delighted and proud to have picked up these two prestigious awards in one night. EnviroVent is leading the way in product advancement, expanding into new markets and creating new jobs. These awards recognise the dedication and hard work that the whole company has exerted over the past 12 months against such tough economic times.”

EnviroVent have also been nominated for the Stray FM Local Hero Awards in the category Best Charitable Company for their 25K Challenge in aid of Saint Michael’s Hospice.
