What does the Desk Based Accounts Manager actually do?

Maximise all accounts and leads for sales and margin growth in line with budget and company targets to ensure an adequate level of market coverage to both new and existing clients.
Enthusiastically present the Company’s products and services in a professional, structured manner.
To provide periodic reports as requested on sales activities, identifying opportunities and challenges and plan sales activities accordingly to ensure adequate market coverage to both new and existing clients.
Ensure client information and contacts are kept up to date and accurate by updating CRM.
To follow up on sale leads within 24 hours of issue and follow up on quotations in a timely manner, providing feedback on won or lost opportunities.
Enthusiastically represent EnviroVent at exhibitions, trade events and client events as appropriate.
To work with colleagues in other areas of the business to ensure timely delivery of our customer’s needs.
To deploy senior managers or ASM’s as appropriate to win/secure/protect major business opportunities.

What do our Production Operatives actually do?

Responsible for the assembly or packing of EnviroVent products to agreed targets and quality standards.
Ensure component supply by monitoring the use of stock and advising Team Leaders/Line Feeder of shortages.
Carry out quality control checks on products.
Inspect equipment & tooling to identify any malfunctions that require repairs or replacement, as well as informing the Team Leader of issues identified immediately.
Recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
Identify and report unsafe operations to Team Leader immediately.
Maintain the work area to ensure it is clean, safe and organised.

What are we looking for in our Design Engineer?

A minimum of five years’ experience in designing mechanical products for manufacture
A bachelor’s degree qualification in Mechanical or Design Engineering
Strong technical design skills and the ability to visually communicate ideas quickly and effectively.
Proactive approach to technical projects demonstrating good analytical and design problem solving skills.
In-depth working knowledge of injection mould part design and processing
SolidWorks experience
A positive and confident approach to project work with good interpersonal skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team, all to agreed deadlines.
The ability to plan individual activities within a project and be adaptable to changing priorities.
Project management and drive to see a product from initial concept into production.
Effective written, verbal communication and organisational skills.
A good working level of Word, PowerPoint and Excel is required.

What do our Design Engineers actually do?

Full mechanical design of new products from conception to completion.
Collaborate with team members to develop design solutions which hit brief and specification.
Use CAD software to produce design for manufacture (DFM) ready proposals that include technical drawings, material selection and BOM’s.
Oversee and coordinate plastic injection mould tooling.
Selection of mechanical componentry which takes into consideration standardisation, obsolescence, availability, and cost.
Prepare and present concepts at regular design reviews.

Work experience or a degree in a Technical/Engineering field (Mechanical or Electrical would be preferred)

Monitoring and analysis of the improvements to be made to our digital product tools & systems
Strategy for development of our digital product tools & systems
Collaboration with our parent company and outside contractors for the integration of tools and systems
Working closely with our Product Managers & Technical team to ensure that the data in our systems is accurate and kept up to date
Introduction of new products to our digital product systems

Installation Manager

Salary: £48,000

Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

We are currently seeking to recruit an Installations Manager.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic leader who is responsible for leading, managing and developing a regionally based team of installation Engineers and sub-contractors in a cost effective and efficient manner to maximise productivity, performance and quality whilst providing excellent customer service.

What are we looking for in our Installations Manager?

Management or supervisory experience with strong interpersonal and customer facing skills.
Good communication skills with the ability to communicate to multiple stakeholders.
Full UK driving licence - essential
18th Edition qualified.
5 years electrical experience
NVQ L3 or equivalent
Inspection and Testing 2391 or equivalent (preferred)
NICEIC QS experience (preferred)
Good IT skills (confident in outlook and excel)

What responsibilities do our Installations Managers have?

Responsibility for a profit and loss account and associated KPI’s across a defined operational area.
Continually monitor installation resource either direct or sub-contract and maintain sufficient levels to achieve required KPIs and lead times.
Responsible for direct labour and sub-contractor recruitment, verification, and daily ongoing management.
Management of performance and conduct of employees in line with company policies and procedures.
Ensure that all installations are completed in line with quality standards, company policies, procedures and are fully compliant with all required industry standards.
Lead by example in taking ownership of H&S and compliance and ensure all audit checks are completed as required.
Ensure all accidents, incidents and near misses are recorded and investigated in line with company policies and procedures.
Ensure individual performance reviews are completed along with PDPs to identify individual training needs and development.
In conjunction with the Operations Support Manager & National Installations Manager, identify training requirements, ensure all training is in date and formulate a yearly training plan for your team.
Keep up to date with industry best practice and regulatory requirements.
Monitor and manage all associated costs including expenses, products, equipment, tools, hotel and travel expenses and overtime payments.
Carry out regular team meetings and toolbox talks.
Responsible for all contracts within defined area of responsibility including attendance at pre-start/review meetings with clients.
Ensure training of new starters and Sub-Contractors is completed and signed off in accordance with company policies & procedures.
Ensure customer or client complaints are dealt with in a timely and professional manner.
Make sure stock controls are in place and stock takes are completed as and when required.
Utilise ownership and initiative in identifying and resolving problems or issues as they arise.

What do our Ventilation Installation Engineers Mate actually do?

To assist the installations team with the fit and electrical wiring of EnviroVent Products under the supervisor of Ventilation Installation Engineers (VIEs).
To be accountable and responsible for ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with the company H&S policy, risk assessments and standard operating procedures, including ensuring all incidents, accidents and near misses are reported and acted upon.
Responsible for ensuring all monthly checks are completed by the last day of every month.
Ensure you have the correct and sufficient stock/equipment for any planned or potential jobs.
Responsible for ensuring a professional representation of the Company to customers, including ensuring you have clean and maintained uniform and company vehicle.
