EnviroVent picked up the prize for Domestic Heating & Ventilation Product of the Year at the H&V News Awards, held at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane on Tuesday night. EnviroVent successfully fought off tough competition to win the coveted award for their heat recovery innovation, energiVent® FLOW.
Marketing Director, Rebecca Marczak, said “As a British manufacturer we are thrilled to win this prestigious award. It is a tremendous achievement to be recognised by the HEVAC industry especially for the design and development of a product.”
The development of energiVent® FLOW was a response to both a gap in the ventilation market and EnviroVent’s own product portfolio. The company’s R & D team began with an investigation looking into the existing heat recovery products on the market and matching them to the specific requirements of potential clients. The research showed that traditional MVHR systems were large and cumbersome, highlighting an opportunity for EnviroVent to develop a small, but highly efficient heat recovery system for apartments and houses with limited floor space.
The awards, which are the industry’s equivalent to the Oscars, were hosted by comedian, Alexander Armstrong. Guests had the opportunity to bid on a range of stunning artworks, courtesy of the Broad Gallery, or try their luck in the evening’s charity casino, with the proceeds of both going to the Leonard Cheshire Disability.
