How does it work?

Sound waves produced inside the SILENT MV are directed through the perforated inner cover and absorbed by the layer of sound absorbent material. The SILENT MV 160/100 is fitted on silent elastic blocks.

Versatility

The SILENT MV fan range offers one of the most versatile fan systems on the market today. Due to its flexibility it can be used in a multitude of small and medium fan installations.

Especially advantageous in applications where the system may be running for long periods throughout the day, the acoustic benefits of the SILENT MV fans ensure that optimum comfort is achieved without the disturbance of noisy ventilation systems.

Innovative Engineering

The SILENT MV has been designed with state of the art technology to achieve results to satisfy the most demanding specifier. The low profile and compact design of the helicocentrifugal fans enable them to be installed where space is restricted, such as false ceilings.

Silent Operating

The connection box can be rotated 360° to enable the power cable to be easily connected.

The central body of the SILENT MV can be easily dismantled from the connections to enable rapid maintenance, without the need to interfere with the ducting.

Are the Silent MV fans truly Silent?

Sound is subjective and what is loud to one person may not be to another. However, Silent MV fans are on average 12 dB(A) quieter than similar products on the market.

What warranty period do the Silent MV fans have?

The Silent MV inline fans come with an impressive 5-year warranty thanks to significant testing and great all-round results.

Are Silent MV fans designed for the domestic market?

There are eight Silent MV fans in the range, from 100mm to 315mm (available on request). The Silent MV 160/100, 250/100 and 350/125 fans have a residential classification under ErP whereas the Silent MV 500/150, 800/200, 1000/200, 1300/250 and 2000/315 have a non-residential ErP classification and should be specified accordingly.

What is the difference between an ‘S’ and ‘T’ model?

The ‘S’ models are the standard versions with either two or three speed options, model depending. The ‘T’ models include a timer if required.

Do the Silent MV fans have any other uses?

The fans themselves are extremely versatile and are often specified where a longer ducting run is required to atmosphere, in wet rooms, offices, toilet blocks or occasional use rooms/basements. The Silent MV fans may be suitable if there is an acoustic concern or if purge ventilation is required, subject to details being provided by an acoustic consultant or specialist.

Can I mount a Silent MV fan vertically?

The Silent MV fans are flexible in terms of installation and can be mounted vertically. However, a condensate trap should be installed to prevent moisture falling back into the product.
