Ducting

Ducting forms the network within a ventilation system that enables air to be distributed and extracted effectively throughout a property.

Ducting

There are several ducting options available for use depending upon the ventilation type and installation. This includes Fast Track radial semi-rigid ducting ranges for ease of use and reduced installation time; Fast Track thermal for pre-insulated thermal ducting; Fast Track rigid, providing self-seal couplers for rigid plastic ducting and general rigid and flexible ducting where appropriate.

These all have their own uses and best practice requirements. Some are regulated in terms of the size or amount that can be used, so this should be considered. In non-heated areas, any ducting being used should be insulated to a minimum thickness and thermal conductivity level, so there are also sleeves and other insulation available that can be used where appropriate. Radial semi-rigid ducting systems use distribution boxes with singular duct runs, rather than the traditional trunk and branch ‘screw and glue’ system, saving time and materials on site.
