envirovent was founded in 1987 with a mission to improve indoor air quality for homes across the UK.

Starting with innovative positive input ventilation systems, the company has grown into a leading manufacturer, dedicated to creating healthier, more energy-efficient living environments through continuous technological advancement and customer education.

Yorkshire Condensation Solutions is first established by Frank Farmer.
Jun1997
Frank Farmer changes the company name to Farmer Controls Ltd and launches the EnviroVent brand. Work begins on designing and manufacturing a range of PIV products.
Feb1998
Farmer Controls becomes a PLC.
May2004
The patented envirovent Filterless Extract Fan is launched, quickly becoming the number one choice for hundreds of social housing providers in the UK.
May2007
envirovent is acquired by Soler & Palau and launches the Lifetime Range® of products designed with recyclable components and incorporating features that minimise energy consumption, reduce life-cycle costs and prevent waste going to landfill.

Farmer Controls PLC becomes envirovent Ltd and launches its extensive range of patented SILENT fans and the EnviroVent Domestic Range.

envirovent achieves the stringent ISO 9001 accreditation.

The company wins the Best SME Company at the prestigious Manufacturer of the Year Award 2013 and achieves the rigorous ISO 14001 accreditation.

The company opens a new Distribution and Training Facility on Hornbeam Park, Harrogate, which allows EnviroVent to deliver NICEIC-accredited training courses to professional Tradespeople.
