    Initial Contact & Booking

    Once you request a free survey, one of our local ventilation specialists will get in touch to speak to you and discuss your concerns. We'll take the time to understand the issues you're experiencing and advise whether ventilation could help. In some cases, this can be resolved with guidance over the phone, but we may recommend a free home survey* for a more detailed assessment if ventilation can provide a long-term solution.

    Friendly Introduction & Discussion

    Your surveyor will introduce themselves, show their envirovent ID, and discuss your concerns and home history to understand how daily routines and lifestyle may affect air quality.

    Exterior Check of Your Property

    Your surveyor will begin with an exterior check to assess the building and spot any structural or external factors that may be contributing to moisture issues.

    Comprehensive Indoor Survey

    The surveyor completes a room-by-room check, assessing mould, moisture, ventilation and airflow, taking key humidity readings to understand how your home is performing.

Before We Arrange a Free Home Survey

To make sure we provide the right advice, one of our ventilation specialists will first discuss your concerns over the phone. In many cases, we can recommend a solution without the need for a home visit.

A free home survey may not be required if:

  • We can identify a suitable ventilation solution during our initial phone consultation.

  • The issues you're experiencing are unlikely to be resolved through improved ventilation.

  • The problem is related to structural defects, leaks, water ingress, rising damp, or other damp issues that ventilation alone cannot address.

Our free surveys are intended to assess whether ventilation can help improve condensation, mould, indoor air quality, and excess moisture within the home. If we believe another type of specialist is better placed to help, we'll let you know and provide guidance where possible.

Free home surveys are offered where a ventilation assessment is considered the most appropriate next step and are subject to suitability and location.
