ATMOS® AIR DUAL

The ATMOS® range of units provides fresh, filtered air into a property from a central location, which is often a landing or central space.

The units come with a pulse heater to temper the air, which is then positively pushed around the property, replacing any stale, moist air with renewed air. This circular process continues, helping to reduce condensation and mould in the property.

The ATMOS® range of units includes units suitable for loft mounting, either ducted to atmosphere for Air Source, Inline or multiple input, or for wall mounting.

There are units with hard-wired, wireless or app controls also available.

The ATMOS® is to be installed in a loft space, the ATMOS® Wall is for properties with a low apex, unsuitable roof or for an apartment.

The ATMOS® range of units is available for supply and fit only by Envirovent and carries a 10-year warranty.

The ATMOS® Wall is also available for supply and fit, again carrying a 10-year warranty, or a 5-year warranty for supply only.

All ATMOS® and ATMOS® Wall products come with a filter as standard, with a minimum of ISO Coarse 65%.

Although the ATMOS® and ATMOS® Wall products come with a pulse heater, this is used to temper the air should the temperature outside drop and is not a form of heating to be used within a property.

If the temperature in the property is in excess of 25°C, most of Envirovent ATMOS and ATMOS Wall units will also go into sleep mode to prevent excessively hot air entering the property before switching back on when the temperature drops. If the unit is ducted to the atmosphere, the unit will continue to run all year round.

An ATMOS® can be installed in a three-storey property providing that the layout allows for this. However, there are requirements regarding protected areas in a property with a height of 4.5m or above, which will need to be taken into account.

A wireless ATMOS® with a specialist metal diffuser will be required for such a scenario. Please get in touch with our Technical Department on 01423 810810 option 5 to discuss fire stopping requirements further.

ATMOS® and ATMOS® Wall units will ventilate all rooms directly linked to the unit. If the unit is located in a central position, this should cover the vast majority of rooms.

However, if you have to walk to one room to get to another (i.e. an en-suite, or walking through a living space to a kitchen or other wet room not connected to the hallway or central space) then an additional continuous ventilation option is required in that remote wet room, such as a d-MEV.

ATMOS® and ATMOS® Wall units generally run all of the time, with the exception of the units that go into sleep mode during periods of hot weather.

These are not designed to be obtrusive and provide fresh, filtered air into the property.
