The Partnership

envirovent is celebrating its seventh year as the approved ventilation supplier to Watson Homes, one of the North West’s leading housebuilders.

It all started back in 2017 when Watson Homes secured a project for a local Social Housing landlord and envirovent was the specified ventilation provider.

Fast forward to today, and envirovent provides Watson Homes with a full range of ventilation solutions from single-room extractor fans to complete MVHR (mechanical ventilation heat recovery) systems – and everything in between.

As part of a major contract, envirovent has recently supplied over 300 of envirovent’s MVHR systems (energiSava® 300 and energiSava® 250) and 50 Mechanical Extract Ventilation systems (MEV 160 and MEV 300) to Watson Homes for use across its social housing and private housing new builds.

We have built up a very positive relationship with Watson Homes over the last seven years and are now their trusted partner to deliver their complete ventilation requirements.We provide full support to Watson Homes across many areas, including ventilation design, technical support and compliance with Building Regulations, as well as advice on meeting SAP compliance and airflow requirements. We work closely with their team across the business in a very hands-on way to help them meet their indoor air quality goals. The Products

envirovent’s energiSava® units are a popular choice for residential properties, providing tempered air to maintain stable humidity levels and prevent condensation and mould growth. These highly efficient home heat recovery systems are designed with the latest energy-saving technology, delivering up to 89% thermal efficiency and incorporating forward-thinking innovations, such as Smart controls, to meet current and future demands in ventilation.

Heat Recovery and Energy Efficiency

envirovent’s MVHR units ventilate homes by extracting stale air from rooms and recovering heat before pushing moisture outside. This process not only ensures a constant supply of air but envirovent’s MVHR systems also extract heat energy from the air and then use it to heat the incoming air. This reduces the amount of heat lost from a home, to make the whole system much more energy efficient.

For housebuilders building to the Passivhaus standard, four mechanical ventilation heat recovery (MVHR) systems from envirovent are certified by the Passivhaus House Institute.

Compact and Low-Energy Options

envirovent’s compact and low-energy Mechanical Extract Ventilation (MEV) units are also designed to enhance indoor air quality through continuous ventilation. Ideal for homes and communal residences, MEV units feature multiple extraction points to remove moisture-laden air from wet rooms, minimising humidity migration to other rooms and preventing future mould issues.

envirovent provides a complete range of technical services to the new build market, including support with compliance to latest building regulations Part F, L & O, as well as advice on meeting SAP compliance and air flow requirements. envirovent also provides highly detailed technical drawings that comply with all necessary regulations. They show everything including the system locations, duct runs, ancillaries and quantities required.
