ENVIROVENT WELCOMES NEW HEAD OF SALES DISTRIBUTION

Darren Ayres Head of Sales Distribution

EnviroVent, one of the UK’s leading ventilation designers and manufacturers, has appointed a new Head of Sales Distribution, Darren Ayres, to enhance customer service for its distribution channels and drive sales.

In his new role, Darren, who is based in Peterborough, will head up a team of two Regional Sales Managers and 12 Area Sales Managers across the country who are responsible for supporting EnviroVent’s electrical wholesalers and distributor network.

His previous roles include being UK Business Director for Farho, a Spanish manufacture of low energy radiators, with responsibility for the overall leadership and direction of the UK business.  Here, Darren worked with electrical wholesalers and buying groups throughout the country, as well as with contractors and architects on residential developments across the construction industry.   He also worked for a number of years as National Account Manager for Whirlpool, selling white goods into both b2c and b2b distribution channels.

As well as managing the Sales Distribution team, Darren’s role will involve managing commercial partnerships and ensuring plans are in place to support distributors with their individual requirements.  EnviroVent has a compelling offer to electrical wholesalers and distributors including providing technical sales training to staff and their contractors and professional marketing support for point of sale material.
