Yes, as long as the circuit is protected by a 30mA RCD
Can I use the Silentub in multiple rooms?
No, this is designed to either be used as a single extractor fan or to exchange heat between adjoining rooms via a flush mounted installation.
Does the Silentub need any maintenance?
There is no filter within the fan but periodic cleaning is required using a clean cloth whenever the fan appears to be dirty.
Should there be a cover on either side of my Silentub fan?
No, this is an inline fan and is designed to either be flush mounted into a wall or used with a small amount of ducting to extract to atmosphere. While the fan could sit flush, we would advise to have a grill/valve at the end the duct/outside to maintain air barriers.
Should I remove the circular piece of acetate at the back of my fan?
No, this is a backdraught shutter and is used to retain heat and prevent air leakage. The back draft shutter is to minimise air coming in from outside.
