To defeat him, run the extractor fan during and for at least 20 minutes after showering (or upgrade to a smart humidity-controlled fan that does it automatically). Bonus points for opening a window.

Mission Briefing: You’ve stepped into the dungeon of doom — indoor clothes drying. Dampcrawler releases 2L of water per load, soaking your air. To weaken him, dry clothes outside, or in a well-ventilated room. If you must dry indoors, crack a window and leave the room unsealed.

Level 3: Kitchen Chaos

Boss Fight: The Condensator
Weakness: Lidded pans, active extractors, closed doors
Attack Pattern: Clouds your ceiling and windows with weaponized steam

Mission Briefing: In this arena, Condensator uses boiling pasta and kettle blasts to spread chaos. Arm yourself with lids, turn on your extractor, and let the dishwasher cool first to contain the kitchen fog. Close the kitchen door to keep steam from infiltrating other zones.

Level 4: Window Wipeout

Boss Fight: The Pane Puddler
Weakness: Morning wipe-downs, trickle vent maintenance

Mission Briefing: Morning windows soaked in dew? That’s the Pane Puddler marking territory. Wipe your windows daily, and check that trickle vents are actually open. Consider an upgrade to your window habits and ensure some passive ventilation is happening as often as possible.

Level 5: Bedroom Fog Zone

Boss Fight: SleepSweat
Weakness: Open doors, aired windows, airflow
Attack Pattern: Traps moisture overnight, fogs glass, feeds spores

Mission Briefing: You release moisture while you sleep — and SleepSweat feeds on it. If your windows are misty in the morning, he’s winning. Ventilate your bedroom when you wake and keep internal doors open when possible. Consider breathable bedding such as bamboo, cotton, or wool fabrics too.

Level 6: The Lichen, the Damp, and the Wardrobe

Boss Fight: Stash Mouldicus
Weakness: Furniture spacing, airflow, reduced clutter
Attack Pattern: Hides behind furniture, strikes unseen

Mission Briefing: Mould hides behind the throne — especially wardrobes and packed cupboards. Leave a 5cm gap between furniture and the wall. Don’t pack wardrobes like it's Tetris. Rotate your cupboard organizatioin every so often to avoid less frequent cupboards building up moisture from capturing humid air from cooking and cleaning.

Level 7: Boiler Room Bunker

Boss Fight: Heatmist
Weakness: Vents, door gaps, trickle flow

Mission Briefing: The boiler room — steamy, sealed, silent. Heatmist breeds here. Keep the cupboard door ajar or install vent panels. Make sure warm areas have airflow. Using less hot water means you don't run your boiler as frequently and keep giving Heatmist buffs.

Level 8: Pet Splash Zone

Boss Fight: DampTail
Weakness: Outdoor drying, towel airing, tank lids
Attack Pattern: Drips from dogs, moisture from tanks, vivariums, aquariums, and terrariums

Mission Briefing: Pets and aquariums secretly feed DampTail. Dry pets outside or in well-aired rooms. Keep tanks covered and properly pumped, and don’t leave soggy towels bunched on radiators. Consider a desert reptile for a pet?

Level 9: Thermal Mayhem

Boss Fight: Heatwave Hydra
Weakness: Filtered airflow, smart ventilation systems, strategic vent use

Mission Briefing: When temperatures spike, windows slam shut — and Heatwave Hydra coils into every sealed room. He loves airtight homes with no airflow. With every breath, you boost the CO₂. With every hour, chemicals seep from floors, furniture, and paint. You’re cooler, maybe — but the air is thick with unseen enemies.

Don’t just block the heat — beat the Hydra with filtered, mechanical airflow that keeps your home breathing without letting hot, polluted air pour in.

Mission Briefing: You’ve cleared the levels, but the real enemy is still here: poor ventilation. Without consistent air changes, everything above returns. That’s where advanced systems like PIV or the Cyclone come in.
