From Start to Finish
MVHR (Mechanical Ventilation Heat Recovery) systems from EnviroVent, one of the UK’s leading ventilation designers & manufacturers, have been specified by Bridgestone Construction for its latest development of new build residential apartments in Manchester.
EnviroVent’s energiSava® 200 ceiling mounted units were selected for 348 apartments, which the company supplied over a three-month period.
EnviroVent was chosen as the company’s technical specialists were able to solve a problem for Bridgestone Construction – how to overcome the challenge of having a sufficiently powerful unit whilst meeting the space saving requirements of the project.
EnviroVent recommended a ceiling, rather than wall-mounted ventilation unit and its energiSava® 200 system was ideal. This ceiling mounted MVHR system is able to deliver exceptional performance within a more compact unit.
EnviroVent also faced the challenge of how to enable the installer to commission and connect the condensate without needing access to the ceiling void. To address this, the ventilation manufacturer recommended the client utilise a remote commissioning pad for the energiSava® 200, which made the process of commissioning the unit much easier in a confined space. As installer access was no longer needed, the hatch into the ceiling could therefore be made much smaller.
Compact and Low-Energy
EnviroVent’s energiSava® units are a popular choice for residential properties, providing tempered air to maintain stable humidity levels and prevent condensation and mould growth. These highly efficient home heat recovery systems are designed with the latest energy-saving technology, delivering up to 89% thermal efficiency and incorporating forward-thinking innovations, such as Smart controls, to meet current and future demands in ventilation.
EnviroVent’s compact and low-energy MVHR units are also designed to enhance indoor air quality through continuous ventilation. Ideal for homes and communal residences, EnviroVent’s units feature multiple extraction points to remove moisture-laden air from wet rooms, minimising humidity migration to other rooms and preventing future mould issues.
With the environment in mind, EnviroVent’s MVHR systems are made from recyclable materials, reducing the amount of waste which goes to landfill. Powered by DC motor technology, these units use minimal energy, therefore lowering carbon emissions.
EnviroVent provides a complete range of technical services to the new build market, including support with compliance to latest building regulations Part F, L & O, as well as advice on meeting SAP compliance and air flow requirements. EnviroVent also provides a free ventilation system design service using bespoke BIM compliant Revit design software.
